The All Japan National Wanpaku (Childrens) Sumo Final takes place in the Ryogoku Sumo Hall (The National Sumo Hall), Tokyo, Japan. Aspiring Sumo Champions, representing their prefectures, aim to become National champions and follow in the footsteps of their Sumo Heroes. Attending the Championship with their coaches they rehearse moves prior to entering the Hall. Each competitor competes in their age category and enters the Shikona (ring) from the East or West side. The aim is to manoeuvre your opponent out of the Shikona.
